Drawing and painting a rose

Finding ways to simplify a drawing is always interesting. Here is another step by step rose drawing.

We traced the drawing with a sharpie and painted using poster paints. To go with the spring theme we painted a colourful background. Now we add this to our list of easy spring paintings :)
